5 Easy Ways to Refresh Your Home on a Budget

Since most of us have been spending a lot more time indoors lately, you’ve probably considered revamping your home or apartment. Renovating a space isn’t always possible and can be costly depending on what you want to get done.

In this blog post, we are sharing easy ways you can refresh your home on a budget!

1. Deep Clean

Doing a deep clean on your home is one of the most underrated ways to instantly give your home a refresh. Washing your trash cans, cleaning out the top and bottom of your cabinets, and cleaning your light fixtures are all easy ways to achieve this. It may seem like a lot of work to do, but the beauty is in the details, and those details can get dirty and dusty quick.

2. Fresh Coat of Paint

Painting your home is an inexpensive way that can transform a room. Maybe your bedroom has lost its luster or your dining room feels boring. It happens to the best of us, but with a little paint and some creativity, you can make any room pop. If you really want to make over a space, a surefire way is to paint the whole room.

If painting an entire room or even doing an accent wall seems too daunting, you can try smaller projects like painting your window frames or even cabinets.

Some of our favorite go-to neutral paint colors include:

  • Whisper
  • Dover White
  • Swiss Coffee
  • Steam
  • Revere Pewter
  • Crushed Ice

These make amazing additions to any room! If you want a more pop of color, we are loving: Hidden Trail, Knoxville Grey, Evening Dove, Black Pepper Instinct.

3. Rearranging Furniture

From your bedroom to your home office, rearranging furniture is an easy way to dramatically transform the look and layout of your space. The proper placement of the room’s furniture goes a long way toward making the space feel welcoming, larger, and as a bonus, it gives you an opportunity to clean in those hidden places.

4. Lightly Accessorize

Adding home accessories to your home can subtly change the look and feel of the space. By adding plants, a mirror, or even a new throw blanket – our favorites are from Letty Blu, can brighten up the space.

5. Add a signature scent

Light a candle or use diffuser to create a fresh, inviting scent in your home. We partnered with Letty Blu to feature our signature scent!
